Valley handmade rug in Aqua is made with clamp resist dyeing technique. The opposite triangles add an interesting pattern running along the length of the Dhurrie. Occasional white triangle has slight aqua colour bleeding into its pristine whiteness, giving a hint of water colour effect. Each handmade rug is unique due to this beautiful handmade stamp of human hand.
Once woven, the Dhurrie is then boiled before being treated to create interesting, unforgettable designs on its surface. The fresh Aqua colour evokes the feeling of being near a seaside abode.
Pomegranate fabric is harnessing the rich craft of Dhurrie making in India to design a collection of flat pile handwoven rugs. These rugs can be used indoors to add a charming elegance and are robust enough to be used outdoors for picnic in the garden on a warm sunny day.
Note: Wash with mild detergent by hand or on a gentle cycle if using washing machine. Hang dry and do note rinse.
The sizes may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of the textile.
